We have been faced with making a hard decision in the very difficult time. We have closed all of our locations except our main manufacturing plant at 2059 Clinton Street in Kaiser Town. We hope that you will think we are worth the trip to our main plant for all of our specialty items.

The Linde family has been in the bakery business since 1940 when William Wierzbowski opened a wholesale bakery on Sycamore Street in Buffalo. The bakery was run by three families. When William started thinking about retirement, the children purchased Haas Bakery on North Ogden Street. When the Linde family’s children showed an interest in the business, Marvin Linde purchased the Pumpernick ‘N Pastry Shoppe on William Street. A few years later Marvin purchased a building at 2059 Clinton Street and moved the manufacturing plant here. Today, the next generation of Linde bakers are involved with the bakery with Marvin’s daughter, Suzanne Linde, taking over as owner and manager upon her father’s death last December. The bakery is very well known in Western New York and provides a quality product at an affordable price and still uses the same scratch formulas with no preservatives that were used in 1940.
